PSP Metra

PSPaudioware have announced PSP Metra, a metering and loudness analysis plug-in aimed at mixing, mastering and broadcast workflows. The new release combines peak, RMS and loudness measurement tools within a single, streamlined interface, offering engineers both dynamic signal evaluafon and compliance monitoring in one processor. PSP Metra provides True Peak and RMS metering alongside integrated loudness monitoring, with the opfon to switch between Dynamic and Loudness modes directly from the main view. In Loudness mode, users can set target loudness values and True Peak maximum levels, which are displayed as visual markers within the meter view to assist with real-time level management.

The plug-in also includes selectable RMS reference standards, including AES17, allowing engineers to work within recognised measurement frameworks when preparing material for streaming or broadcast delivery. Loudness readouts can be reset instantly via double-click, supporfng fast comparafve evaluafon during mastering sessions. A dedicated Loudness View displays target and maximum peak indicators as graphical overlays, while additional visual scale markers provide guidance without cluttering the interface. A favourites preset system is included for storing commonly used monitoring configurations.

Up to date iLok License Manager application installed (an iLok dongle not required). By default, PSP provide 3 licenses.
