As a uniquely positioned world-class destination that effortlessly bridges the gap between corporate infrastructure and cultural leisure - for it is known as the Caput Mundi (Capital of the World), Rome is well worth visiting. For fans of synthesizers and pro audio, Roma Modulare 2026 is, undoubtedly, unmissable - all the more since the two-day expo in question is taking place in central Rome at a unique new location. L’Opificio Italiacamp itself is billed as being a centre for culture and education, born out of an urban regeneration project in the Ostiense-Marconi district that is one of the most vibrant areas of the capital city. Indeed, it tells more than a century of innovations, stories, and transformations - from a hub of Roman industry to a space for urban regeneration. Reality dictates, therefore, that L’Opificio Italiacamp symbolises a city and a community that evolves, yet does not forget its innovative roots in the process of doing so. After all, the beautiful building itself initially belonged to historic candle and soap manufacturer Mira Lanza, housing its infirmary, refectory, and a kindergarten for employee’s children, before becoming the laboratory of internationally renowned marble workers Ditta Medici.
More to the point, though, September 18-19, 2026 will see the present-day 1,200m² exhibition space swarming with leading manufacturers of synthesizers and professional audio gear keen to show their latest wares. With that very thought in mind, Alberto Rossetto, the principal driving force behind Roma Modulare 2026, barely contained his excitement when capturing an advance quick-stop guided tour of L’Opificio Italiacamp on candid camera, commenting, “We will have lots of exhibitors; here on the sides and also in the middle, we’ll be surrounded by synthesizers. We’ll also have speakers and pro audio gear, with a lot of space in another room with it’s nice skylights showcasing Rome’s beautiful September. It’s also worth looking at all the marble that will surround the event, because this location was a special marble factory in the past history of Rome.”

Tickets to Roma Modulare 2026 are purchasable as a two-day pass - priced at €27.00 EUR - or as one-day tickets for entry either on September 18 (at 2.00 pm CEST) or September 19 (at 10.00 am CEST) - priced at €18.00 EUR each. (Either way, entry is free for anyone under 16.)
