FiiO LEVEL 1

FiiO has announced three new additions to its growing hi-fi line up including the LEVEL 1 amplifier, the JT9 open-back planar headphones and a Class A headphone amplifier. Leading the reveal is the new LEVEL 1, above, a compact high-resolution desktop amplifier delivering up to 2 x 300W output power. Designed around the Texas Instruments TPA3255, the LEVEL 1 combines power with a small footprint.
LEVEL 1 supports RCA LINE IN, USB, coaxial and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity with LDAC support, allowing compatibility with both traditional hi-fi sources and modern wireless streaming devices. FiiO has also incorporated dedicated subwoofer and pre-out connections, alongside bass and treble controls for a retro feel. Audiophile internal design includes a six-layer immersion gold PCB, premium capacitors sourced from Germany and Japan, and a chassis combining aluminium alloy with wood accents. LEVEL 1 pricing will be set at $139 / £139.
Joining the desktop range is the new FiiO JT9, an open-back planar magnetic headphone developed for detailed listening. The JT9 features a custom 95 x 86mm planar driver paired with an ultra-thin diaphragm for improved resolution. FiiO’s patented dual-coating technology and uniform magnetic field design are intended to enhance transient performance and tonal accuracy.
Despite the large planar driver architecture, the JT9 weighs just 365g and features a foldable design for easier storage and transport. A sensitivity rating of 95dB/mW helps ensure compatibility across devices and both 3.5mm and balanced 4.4mm headphone cables are included in the box. Completing the reveal is FiiO’s new Class A Headphone Amplifier, a fully discrete transistor pure Class A design aimed at fans of high-end headphones. Delivering 1000mW + 1000mW of pure Class A output power, the amplifier employs a custom 60W toroidal transformer and a discrete regulated power supply system. Additional features include five selectable gain levels, independent bass and treble controls and 12V Trigger IN/OUT functionality. Headphone connectivity options include 3.5mm, 4.4mm, XLR and a RCA input/output.
