How to resolve AdBlock issue? BOOM ONE October 2026 Update
BOOM Library announces the BOOM ONE Update 26-11, a release built for the horror season. It pairs a pre-designed gore package with a complete toolkit for building a haunted house, from creaking doors and chiming clocks to atmospheric whispers, drones, and storms. With over 500 new sound files, 2,500+ individual sounds, and 11GB+ of professional-grade content, this update gives sound designers the material to build tension and deliver the impact when it lands.
Bloodbath takes a different starting point with the 240 files focusing on pre-designed material with a clear gore reference straight out of the box: bone breaks and neck twists, stabs and slices, bloody splatters, and visceral whooshes. The processing has been kept to a minimum so the sounds go in a designed direction while keeping enough body to layer cleanly with a designer’s own material.
For those who prefer to build gore from scratch, 100+ source files are included. Fruit and vegetables were broken, stabbed, and squished, and rubber gloves were filled with substances like yoghurt and mayonnaise. Some of the source material was captured at 192 kHz, leaving plenty of headroom for pitch shifting with minimal artefacts.

HAUNTED HOUSE: Creaks, Chimes, and Dread includes as over 150 files built from the objects that make an old house unsettling. An old clock striking every hour from one to twelve, antique wall-clock tick-and-chime loops, and a wind-up music box. Wooden doors that creak, groan, squeal, and screech, alongside wardrobe doors and old door handles. Chains and chain mail, handled and moved on stone and wooden floors.
Atmospheres include designed drones, impacts, and stingers, plus breaths, whispers, and screams. Weather completes the picture: thunder, rain, storm gusts recorded inside a cabin, and wind whistling through windows and a basement corridor.
