Acedia Audio Kerosene 1.1.3

AcediaAudio Kerosene1 1 3

Acedia Audio has released version 1.1.3 of Kerosene, its multi-mode saturation plugin, adding AAX format support, making the plugin available to Pro Tools users for the first time. The update also introduces a new logo with improved blending. Kerosene combines four saturation algorithms: Soft Clip, Hard Clip, Tube, and Tape, with a reactive noise engine, post-saturation compression, frequency filtering, and a real-time transfer function visualiser. It is designed around fast, creative decision-making, giving producers immediate tonal results.

Where most saturation plugins offer a single algorithm with a tone control, Kerosene is built as a complete saturation environment. The distinct algorithms each produce a different harmonic fingerprint and respond differently as the drive increases. A reactive noise engine feeds analogue-style texture into the signal before the saturation stage, so the noise itself gets shaped by whichever algorithm is running rather than sitting as a static layer on top. Post-saturation compression, frequency filtering, and a real-time transfer function visualiser complete the picture, giving producers a single tool that handles everything from subtle bus warmth to deliberate sonic destruction.

"Pro Tools is the industry standard for those working in music and post," said Deivids Hvostovs, Founder of Acedia Audio. "Getting it into AAX wasn't just a technical milestone; it was about making sure the tool is available for this essential DAW. We are delighted we now have all bases covered with AAX, AU and VST3 support."

Kerosene Version 1.1.3 is available now.
