ComposerCon 2026

Elephant Music and Headliner Group announce ComposerCon 2026, a one-day conference dedicated to the craft, career, and future of music composition. Taking place on Wednesday, 23 September 2026 at EartH in Dalston, East London, ComposerCon will bring together leading voices from across the music industry alongside key pro audio and technology brands for a day of thought-provoking panels, expert insight, and state-of-the-art product demonstrations. The picture above shows Paul Watson, Vikram Gudi, Rian Zoll-Khan.
The timing could not be more pressing. The global production music market is projected to surpass 6 billion by 2027, with over 500 million tracks now uploaded to streaming platforms every year. Yet despite the industry's extraordinary growth, composers remain among its most underserved professionals.
72% of working composers rely on multiple income streams simply to sustain a career, navigating a landscape increasingly shaped by AI, shifting sync markets, and an intellectual property environment that is evolving faster than most can keep up with. At the same time, the rise of spatial audio and immersive formats is rewriting how music is created and delivered, demanding new skills, new tools, and new conversations. ComposerCon exists because those conversations need a home.
Designed for working composers, emerging talent, and music industry professionals, the conference will explore the themes shaping composition today, from the rise of AI tools and spatial audio to the realities of sync licensing, publishing rights, and building a sustainable creative career in an industry that never stands still. The day will feature a series of panels bringing together some of the most respected names in the business. Confirmed panellists include representatives from Netflix, Apple, Spotify, and more, spanning streaming, sync, technology, and the wider music industry ecosystem. EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) provides the perfect setting for a day of this kind, a cultural landmark in the heart of Dalston that brings together intimacy and scale. Doors open at noon, with the programme running throughout the day.
ComposerCon is the product of a partnership between Elephant Music, the London-based music production house and sync library known for bespoke composition and curated licensing across advertising, television, and film; and Headliner Group, a media and music company which supports the creative community of artists and music professionals through its content channels, events, and professional recording studios. Together, they share a conviction that composers deserve a space of their own, one that takes their work seriously and reflects the breadth of their world.
