Electro-Voice EVIDn

Electro-Voice presents EVIDn, a new family of PoE+ loudspeakers for network-managed commercial audio installations. AV integrators, specifiers and IT-oriented installers get a first look at the line during its world premiere at Integrate Expo 2026 in Sydney. EVIDn brings Electro-Voice's signature sound and proven installation design to the network. Built on a shared internal PoE+ module architecture, the ceiling, surface mount and pendant models combine single-cable installation with the flexibility to choose the right model for each project.
EVIDn builds on Electro-Voice's decades of experience designing and installing commercial loudspeakers, drawing in particular on EVID, one of the brand's most established loudspeaker portfolios, with millions of units sold worldwide. That heritage extends beyond acoustic performance to the practical details of installation, including mounting, brackets, weather protection, accessories and safety. Electro-Voice's sibling brand Dynacord contributes decades of expertise in amplification, DSP, networked audio and system intelligence, bringing the two disciplines together in a nine-model family across ceiling, surface mount and pendant formats. Ceiling models are available in standard and low-profile versions, and the surface mount model is rated IP65 for indoor and outdoor use.
For AV integrators, EVIDn brings amplification, DSP, signal protection and network audio transport together inside each loudspeaker. Every model is pre-tuned to match its equivalent passive EVID model, delivering a professional-grade sound performance. Dynamic EQ maintains that tonal balance as listening levels change, keeping the sound consistent from background level to full output. Because power, audio and data travel over a single network cable, EVIDn deploys on the structured cabling already present in most commercial buildings, without a dedicated amplifier room. Each loudspeaker is individually addressable, so tuning and monitoring are handled in software and can be adjusted as a space changes. Support for Dante and AES67 ensures compatibility with the wider networked audio system.
For IT-oriented installers, EVIDn is built on open, industry-standard networking rather than a closed ecosystem of its own. PoE+ (Class 4) delivers up to 30 W to each loudspeaker, with standard PoE compatibility for existing infrastructure. Network security is built in from the start, with 802.1X compliance meeting the authentication requirements enterprise networks already enforce. The entire line is configured, monitored and managed through a browser-based web interface that requires no separate software installation, giving both AV and IT teams a straightforward way to set up and manage the system.
On the job, hardware details matter as much as networking. The SwiftLock mounting system is designed for one-person installation, with no second pair of hands needed. Included tile rails, mounting rings, magnetic grilles and support for fully terminated Ethernet cables further reduce time spent per loudspeaker. Across large or multi-building projects, those time savings add up quickly.
EVIDn ceiling and surface mount models will be available globally beginning in early 2027, with pendant models to follow later in the year, backed by Electro-Voice's standard three-year warranty.
