BluOS VoiceCast Support

BluOS x VoiceCast

Ahead of CEDIA Expo 2026, BluOS, a premium multi-room management platform from Lenbrook Media Group, today announced upcoming support for Josh.ai’s VoiceCast feature, expanding the options available to integrators designing AI-powered, whole-home audio systems.

The capability will build on the existing integration between BluOS and Josh.ai, which currently allows users to find, play and control music by voice, touch, and text across Josh.ai’s intuitive interfaces. VoiceCast will add the response side of the interaction to BluOS systems, enabling integrators to route Josh.ai’s spoken confirmations and answers to a designated player or audio zone. Clients will therefore be able to hear Josh.ai’s replies broadcasted through the room’s installed audio system rather than solely through the Josh.ai device they are interacting with.

VoiceCast will deliver Josh.ai’s voice responses across a range of BluOS-powered listening environments, including wireless speakers, home theater systems and custom installations featuring in-wall or in-ceiling speakers. This will be particularly relevant in projects where Josh.ai microphones, remotes, and touchscreens are installed separately from the room’s audio system. During setup, integrators will pair each compatible Josh.ai far-field and near-field voice-enabled interface with its corresponding BluOS player or zone. This will bring voice feedback into the audio system already designed for the project while providing a consistent room-by-room experience across different system configurations.

“BluOS and Josh.ai are both widely adopted in thoughtfully designed, professionally integrated spaces,” said Andrew Haines, BluOS Product Manager. “The addition of VoiceCast will make the Josh.ai experience more complete across the BluOS ecosystem, and give integration partners greater flexibility to create intuitive, high-performance systems for their clients.”

“We’re excited to see BluOS embrace VoiceCast and bring it natively to its ecosystem,” said Alex Capecelatro, CEO of Josh.ai. “We designed VoiceCast as an open capability because Josh.ai’s role is to work exceptionally well across the products and brands our integration partners choose for their clients. Through this integration, BluOS and Josh.ai will deliver a more natural, immersive experience while preserving the choice and flexibility that are so important to the custom integration industry.”

The update will be available across supported BluOS-enabled products from brands including Bluesound, NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers, Bluesound Professional, DALI, Monitor Audio, Cyrus Audio and Roksan.
