Jünger Audio flexAI Platform Updates
Telos Alliance, a company with expertise in broadcast audio for more than three decades, announced that Jünger Audio will showcase a portfolio of new features and enhancements to its flexAI platform to attendees at the IBC2025 show in Amsterdam from September 12 - 15, 2025. The first is an enhanced object-based workflow that includes a 7.4.1-channel program processor, a new immersive upmixer for generating additional surround and height channels, and a 7.1.4-channel monitor controller for immersive monitoring. Other features include Dolby ED2 encoding and decoding and MPEG-H Audio authoring and rendering, all with S-ADM support. S-ADM metadata output is also included for Dolby E decoding.
Also on display at IBC2025 will be the optional AI-powered Automixer featuring JAIC - Jünger Audio Intelligent Companion - that provides real-time analysis and intelligent adjustment of mix parameters to ensure consistent audio levels while preserving the low latency required for live use. It offers host-priority control and enhanced speech intelligibility, making it ideal for sports commentary, news production, and other complex multi-source program types. The AI-powered Automixer will be included in the next software update.
Finally, Jünger Audio’s highly anticipated flexAIcloud offering - a cloud-native deployment of flexAI hosted on AWS - will also be featured at the show. flexAIcloud can be used as a standalone cloud-based system or as a means of scaling on-premises flexAI systems to meet increased demands on the fly. It is a complete audio processing environment, offering every feature and capability currently available on the AIXpressor and flexAIserver hardware platforms, with support for both channel- and object-based audio workflows.
“The workflows needed to keep up with the constant changes in audio for media present a challenge to anyone producing or delivering content,” said Friedemann Kootz, Managing Director, Jünger Audio. “By continually updating our flexAI-based products, including AIXpressor, flexAIserver, and soon, flexAIcloud, we hope to provide our customers with the tools they need to work effectively and efficiently, whether on-premises or in the cloud, and across all distribution models.”
All new and forthcoming flexAI features will be demonstrated at IBC2025 in the Telos Alliance booth, Stand #8.D37.
