Squarp Instruments Hermod+ OS 3.0

SquarpInstruments Hermodplus OS3 0

Squarp Instruments announces that Hermod+OS 3.0 is now available. It brings the following features to the sequencer:

  • Mod Interpolation: modulation values between steps now interpolate using configurable curves (OFF / LIN / S-curve / LOG / EXP). From rigid stepping to smooth ramps with the curve of your choice
Custom Scales: you can now create your own. Up to 16, edited right on the module with a dedicated piano-style editor. They sit next to the 71 built-in scales in the Scale effect.
HOLD: keep notes ringing inside the FX chain
MIDI OUTPUT: drop a MIDI send anywhere in the chain (great for split MIDI+CV setups)
REGISTER: looping sequences that mutate as you add randomness, Turing Machine style
BERNOULLI : probabilistic A/B routing with a probability dial
Track Naming: finally. Up to 12 characters per track, saved with the project.
Jitter Monitor: new tool that detects the BPM of an incoming clock (MIDI, USB or CV IN A) and measures its timing jitter, so you can check how tight your sync sources really are.
  • Squarp Instruments also rewrote the USB Host driver: Sequential Take 5, OB-X8, OP-1, Seaboard M, Roland A-88 and others now work properly.

Squarp Instruments tackled the bugs that were getting in the way most, and put real work into UI/workflow polish: a sequencer that gets in your way is a sequencer you don't play. Better UI/UX and 20 bug fixes. Squarp Instruments will continue to bring new features to Hermod+ with future updates.
