Jolin KRONO:
Jolin introduces KRONO, a 4HP digital time tool that changes the way your system thinks about tempo. It offers multi-modal clock generation with internal memory, so it always picks up right where you left off. Compact yet powerful, KRONO handles clock and tap-tempo duties with a focus on performance, variation, and state persistence. Whether driven by external pulses or manual tapping, it delivers 12 gate outputs in complex time patterns - from Euclidean rhythms to phase shifts and logic combinations. Two output banks (A and B) can be swapped on the fly, with a minimal interface that keeps things fast and intuitive.
Fully open-source and based on STM32F411 - a powerful CPU - KRONO is made to be hacked. Its code is available on GitHub, inviting the community to develop custom firmware or entirely new modes. Multi-modal logic, compact design, and full customization - all in just 4HP.
Key Features:
- 10 rhythmic engines: Divide/Multiply, Euclidean, Probabilistic, Logic, Swing, Chaos, and more
- Tap-tempo and external clock with auto-switching and fallback
- 12 clock outputs in 2 groups
- Real-time A/B swap via button or gate input
- Flash memory for tempo, mode, and swap state
- Compact 4HP design
- Open-code on GitHub - program it your way via USB-C.
The module will be showcased at Superbooth and it's now currently up for pre-orders at a discounted price.
