AES Show Nashville 2026, taking place October 30 – November 1 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, will feature an extensive lineup of immersive and spatial audio programming, bringing together leading engineers, producers, educators and technology developers alongside some of the industry’s top brands. Through dedicated listening environments, masterclasses, technical sessions and demonstrations, attendees will have opportunities to explore the latest tools, workflows and creative approaches shaping the future of immersive audio production and playback.
The AES Show’s immersive and spatial audio program spans both the creative and technical sides of the rapidly evolving field, with sessions addressing production techniques, collaboration, playback technologies and new approaches to three-dimensional listening. Highlight sessions include “Mix on the Beach for the Sphere,” hosted by Tom Ammermann; “Collaboration in Immersive Music Productions,” featuring Justin Gray, Morten Lindberg and Michael Romanowski; and “Headphone Audio Enhancement: Two Transducers, Three Dimensions,” featuring Jean-Marc Jot, Hyunkook Lee, Thomas Lund, Koyuru Okimoto and Agnieszka Roginska, along with a broad range of additional sessions exploring immersive workflows, tools and applications.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience the latest in immersive and spatial audio firsthand through a series of sessions taking place in AES Show Nashville’s dedicated immersive listening rooms, hosted by ADAM Audio and Genelec.
The ADAM Audio Immersive Room will provide a dedicated setting for attendees to hear, examine and discuss immersive production techniques in action, with sessions covering everything from multiformat mixing and binaural reproduction to creative spatial capture and restorative audio experiences. Programming includes “How to Successfully Mix in Stereo/Atmos/Eclipsa in the Same Session,” presented by BZ Lewis; “Breaking Through Binaural Boundaries,” led by Michael Harris, Todd Hooge and Matthew Lien; “Immersive Listening Environments: From Spatial Soundscapes to Restorative 3D Audio,” with Jeff Bova and Lasse Nipkow; and “Sampling Space: DIY Spatial Room Impulse Response Capture for Creative Applications,” presented by Vlad Baran, Jack Kelly, Mathew Vallejo and Wieslaw Woszczyk.
The Genelec Immersive Room will host a dedicated 3D Masterclass series, giving attendees the opportunity to hear immersive work in a purpose-built listening environment while learning directly from leading engineers and producers. The series includes sessions hosted by Jim Anderson and Ulrike Schwarz, Florian Camerer, Paul Geluso with Agnieszka Roginska, Kseniya Kawko, Richard King, Morten Lindberg, George Massenburg, Daniel Shores and Katia Sochaczewska. Additional programming in the Genelec room includes “New Immersive and Surround Recordings by Anderson and Schwarz” and “Chopin Residue: Inside the Immersive Experience” featuring Jacek Gawlowski, Morten Lindberg, Michael Romanowski and Mariusz Szypura.
