STAGETEC at IBC 2026

At IBC 2026, STAGETEC shows how intelligent engineering simplifies professional audio production – Work. Simplified. The latest developments for the company's range of broadcast, live and production will be demonstrated on the booth.
A new AVATUS 1.22 software update will be previewed, further enhancing the mixing console with improved Cue Automation, optimized UI elements and faster, more responsive touchscreens – making everyday workflows more intuitive and immediate. An AVATUS 48S is pictured above.
The newly introduced AXIO multifunction stagebox will demonstrate common workflow capabilities. Multiple AXIO units are shown connected via proprietary Loop protocol over fiber optics, transmitting audio and control data with near-zero latency while enabling full network control from the Stagenet user interface, and mic gain control from the AVATUS console.

IBC also marks new software V3.2.0 for the NEXUS compact audio routing and I/O interface (pictured above). New feature updates are included to user rights management and programmable macros. The snapshots functionality has also been revised to facilitate setup and work in a more intuitive way.
STAGETEC's new ON AIR console will be previewed with NEX:T core DSP, and NEXUS compact for I/O. ON AIR is the compact answer to modern production environments. Whether in a broadcast radio studio, OB van, theater, or AV control room, thanks to its modular design, the console can be tailored from a streamlined entry-level desk to a fully expanded studio configuration.
STAGETEC's CEO Wolfgang Salzbrenner remarked "The best technology is the technology you don't have to think about. It simply works, gives you confidence and lets you focus on what really matters, your production. That's what we strive for at STAGETEC and the idea behind work simplified."
STAGETEC NEXUS integration with Yamaha DM7 V2.0 now enables direct head-amp control of NEXUS and NEXUS compact from DM7 consoles. STAGETEC has been working with EVS to integrate AXIO with its Cerebrum Control and Orchestration platform – demonstrating seamless interoperability for reliable, network-based broadcast infrastructures. STAGETEC is also collaborating with RTW Audio, integrating its new TMxCore metering engine with AVATUS – bringing RTW's broadcast-grade audio analysis and metering directly to the console via its integrated RTW Network Display.
