Audio-Technica Expands Wireless Capabilities At Prolight+Sound

Audio-Technica is to debut two powerful new wireless accessories for use with its 3000 and 5000 Series systems at Prolight+Sound 2019 between 2-5 April.

The ATW-DA49a is a UHF active unity-gain diversity wide band (470 – 990 MHz) antenna distribution system that enables one pair of antennas to feed multiple wireless systems ¬one ATW-DA49a unit is able to support up to four wireless receiver chains. It provides 250 mA @ 12V DC antenna power to drive active components like the new ATW-A410P active broadband antenna for ceiling and wall mount, also being unveiled at Prolight+Sound.

The ATW-A410P’s elegantly designed housing not only allows for unobtrusive installation, but also contains a versatile broadband antenna and a four level RF signal amplifier to compensate cable losses.

Both the ATW-DA49a and the ATW-A410P – which can also be used with Audio-Technica’s 2000 Series and AT One wireless systems – have been developed to the highest specification levels to guarantee stable operation of large-scale wireless installations in an increasingly demanding RF environment.

The entire 3000 Series and 5000 Series wireless systems will be on display at Prolight+Sound, alongside Audio-Technica’s recently launched mounting options for the popular ATM350 instrument microphone – the ATM350GL for acoustic guitar and ATM350SL for accordions and other challenging applications. The new AT-LP140x turntable will also be appearing at the show for the first time.

Audio-Technica is exhibiting in Hall 8 on stand H51 at Prolight+Sound 2019.
