StageTec AVATUS iF Design Award Logo

Mixing consoles from Berlin-based manufacturer Stage Tec offer outstanding audio quality. They are reliable, sustainable - and they are unmistakable with their elegant, innovative design. Stage Tec has now won the internationally renowned iF DESIGN AWARD for the third time. Following CANTUS (1997) and AURUS (2006), the new AVATUS IP console has also received the award in the "Product" category.

The product design was created in cooperation with Arno Schünemann from Schünemann DesignSolutions Berlin.

"With the innovative AVATUS user interface we want to provide our customers with modern workflow-oriented operation. The 21" multi-touch screens and the colour coding of the functional units enable a fast, intuitive way of working. In this respect, we see ourselves confirmed by this award, where innovation and ergonomics are judged by renowned design experts from all over the world," says René Harder, Managing Director at Stage Tec, proudly.

The international jury evaluated over 7,000 products in various categories. The evaluation criteria included: Degree of innovation, ergonomics, aesthetics, brand identity, efficiency of production and logistics as well as compliance with environmental standards.

The iF DESIGN AWARD was first presented in 1953 and is the oldest independent design prize in the world. The aim of the award is to draw attention to particularly well-designed industrial products and to emphasize the importance of design. The iF brand enjoys an international reputation as a symbol of outstanding design achievements. All award-winning entries are presented in the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE and published in the iF Design App.
