Ambient ACL204 Firmware 2.0
The Ambient Lockit is one of the most successful mobile time code and sync signal generator on the market. The cigarette packet sized device can easily be attached to each and every camera. There it guarantees a highly accurate time code and video sync thanks to a drift of max 0.5 frames in 24 hours. Therefore it's no surprise that neither soaps nor huge Hollywood productions like "The Hobbit" or "The amazing Spiderman" work without Lockits anymore.
Multi-Camera and 3D-Rigs gain an excellent workflow which massively saves time and money in post production. Thanks to the firmware update 2.0 the ACL204 combines the independence of a wireless time code link with the reliability and leading accuracy of the Ambient Clockit system.
With the new integrated ACN Basic any Lockit can be used to set all other ACN capable devices on location to the correct Time Code at once. The transmitting ACL204 receives feedback information from each device within the network. It immediately displays whether the receiving Lockits have been jam synced or if, due to e.g. not integer frame rates, it wasn't possible. This way the user just needs a glimpse on the display to overview the complete setup.
